A Shout Out to My Mom...

*Gobble, Gobble

Dear Mom,

Thank you for the chocolate turkey's. These were a bright spot in an otherwise depressing couple of days.

In other news...

Snoop will not be moving to Australia.

Other than that, not too much has been going on. Christmas parties are starting and seeing how Australians like a beverage, things should get interesting.

And though Australians do not celebrate it, we'll be giving thanks this weekend with a special order turkey, so stay tuned for a more thorough update!

I realize we don't post many updates, but it mostly seems as if we don't have much interesting news to share. If anyone has any special requests, holler.

*Mmmm, chocolate turkey.

I guess by now you have prepared your Thanksgiving meal. Hope you both ate plenty of turkey and dressing with all the fixings. We will travel to Dallas tomorrow to celebrate with the "Craft's" Promise I will send pictures to share. Today I did my annual cooking for the big occasion. Happy to say I have advanced my cooking skills past the "pumpkin fluff" to a more "palate pleaser" pumpkin spice bars. The verdict isn't in yet but will keep you posted!!
You asked if we had anything we wanted you to post. We love anything and enjoy reading everyone of your post. So please keep sharing with us.
Happy Thanksgiving
Love you,
Mom and Dad

Hey you guys, sorry to here you have had a couple of "not so good" days. I imagine the holidays might be a little tough for you two, just keep in mind we will all be soaking up some sun in a couple of months:)
Just to catch you up with the Craft gossip...Nikki, Nick, and I ran the Thanksgiving half marathon early that morning, then Nick and I drove to Paulding County for some good country cooking. Uncle Jack cooked at least six turkeys this year. Gregory announced to all his big news, we have a new addition to the family, Lisa Smith. I am not even sure Memaw heard considering her reaction was not quite as lively as you would have expected. And somehow we had a discussion with Aunt Susan about our "doobie days." The holiday "spirits"were definitely flowing. Nobody won any $$ from the annual lottery tickets. And we all decided to give Kaye $$ for Xmas instead of the cousins exchanging names. Oh and mother's pumpkin spice bars were a real treat!!
As for future blogs - I love the pictures. I think you both do a wonderful job of blogging and keeping us posted of your lives. One day I will figure out how to post a picture:)

Miss you both.

sis

Howdy Pearce's down under,

I was sorry to learn the Aussie's don't celebrate Thanksgiving. What a bummer. I got to spend the holiday at the Waldrep's and it was quite a spread. I brought some organic Gingerbread coffee I think you both would have enjoyed, and if you are good you might just get some for Christmas! I just wanted to wish you both a Happy Holiday, you are in our prayers.

i'm so sorry to hear that snoop won't be joining you on your adventure. perhaps this means you'll have to come back more often to visit!! :)

i too can commiserate on how it feels to be stuck in countries that don't care about our holidays (my sister: "wait, they don't have the 4th of july in england??" me: "ummm, no, anna..."), but please know that we're thinking about you here. we'll have our own makeup thanksgiving when i finally get there to visit, capisce? :)

you guys take care of yourselves, and each other. miss you!!

So sorry to hear about Snoop! We'll make sure to give him lots of love when we see him.

Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving! Those chocolate turkeys were too good. They only lasted a brief moment here. Enough to enjoy their cuteness.

We had a nice time with John and Anda last night before returning back to DC very early this morning. They are doing well. Their new dog, Dandy, is ridiculous!! So sweet and cute. More like a stuffed animal than dog.

Keep the blogs coming! Miss you two!
